Thanks to all of you for your kind words. I don't expect ever again to have the chance to get twins. I thought this would be pretty commercial, but I have only sold it once. It was a real treat to ge the shot. Truly, once in a nature photographer's life shot.

Now I am realizing how rare the twins were here. If you will look on page 5 in my profile--you will see the twin toddlers we had this spring. The title is 'My Dear Twin Fawns'.

Every June there are many does who give birth on top of our mountain. One that hangs around our yard often twins. This is the first time I found her fawns. It was a real treat. I have never seen any other twin fawn pictures.

OH MY! This just too much! We had twins on the backroad close by--but I didn't get to see them like this. They were toddlers--and one was friendly like a puppy--and the other one was so bashful I could not get them together like I wanted. I so agree with your statement that these golden moments are 'given' and not 'taken'!! How did you get this close--where are the mother? Thanks for sharing-- FAV and Voted!

Thanks for all our comments. I doubt I will ever get twin fawns again. Any nature photographer should admit that these photos are given and not taken. This is one of those shoots I remember vividly.
